Hello Sangster Families,

 

The Sangster PAC Executive Committee would like to share some details about our upcoming events.

 

  1. Online 50/50 Raffle: We are excited to offer our first online 50/50! Half of the jackpot will go back directly to the school to help fund field trips, supplies for the classrooms, new playground equipment, and an outdoor learning space. Please share with your friends and family, the raffle is open to all residents in BC until May 31st. Jackpot is over $1300 already!   1. Sangster Spring Fair May 30th:

Our annual Spring Fair is coming up next month. This year’s fair will have lots of free family fun. Participants will have a choice to purchase a $10 Game Passport. Once they have visited the stations on the passport and collected 12 stamps, they can turn in the passport to enter a draw for some exciting prizes. Each participant will get a small prize for playing each game. The Langford Legion has kindly offered to provide a BBQ concession at the fair and will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks. The Crazy Cookie House will be here selling sweet treats too! We will also have special guests providing activities for families including, P.I.S.E., JDF Soccer, Grassroots Rugby, Victoria Grizzlies Hockey, and the Westshore RCMP. Carnival style games, giant inflatable games, family photo booth, and an inflatable obstacle course are some highlights to participate in. We are in need of some volunteers to make this event a success.   1. Class Raffle Baskets: We will once again be collecting donated items to make Raffle Baskets for our Spring Fair. Each teacher will pick a theme for their class and then families will be asked to donate something to match that theme. The Baskets will be raffled off at the Spring Fair. Donations will be due to your classroom teacher by May 22.

 

  1. PAC AGM May 14th, 6:30-7 pm. Join our fun and energetic team of parents to make a positive difference at the school! Refreshments will be served during the AGM. If you require childcare in order to attend, please let us know by May 12, so we can ensure this service is available. All parents who attend our AGM will be entered into a draw to win free Spring Fair Game Passports. The PAC Executive positions are all open for nomination and voting will take place at this meeting to vote in new and returning candidates to key positions on our team. Lots of support and training for new members. PAC Meeting to follow at 7 pm for those parents interested in learning more about what’s coming up at the school.
